Potatoes are a vegetable, so I consider fries a superfood!
Ok, maybe that’s a stretch…
But, when you use sweet potatoes and coat them in protein BBQ goodness…superfood!!!
Seriously, how amazing do those look?
There is no oil needed for these and no frying.
They are baked to crispy perfection!
The secret is crushed Quest BBQ Chips. These chips are loaded with protein.
21 grams per bag to be exact.
So not only are you getting in your veggies, you are also getting a nice protein boost!
Of course you don’t have to use Quest Chips. Any old chip would work!
Actually, I don’t recommend old chips…buy some fresh ones…
Don’t like sweet potatoes? Use regular potatoes.
OOohhhh! Try white potato with sour cream and onion chips!!!
I bet Doritos would be amazing too!

The entire batch of fries – 345 calories
- 2 sweet potatoes
- egg of choice (egg substitute, egg whites, or whole eggs)
- Quest BBQ chips
- Peel sweet potatoes
- Cut potatoes into fries
- Steam or boil fries til tender
- Crush chips and set aside
- Coat fries in egg
- Coat in crushed chips
- Bake at 350 for 18-20 minutes
