Sugar Cookie Oatmeal

Winter is coming!!! I know, most of you are very angry at the snow and cold weather….I am actually very excited about it! Why?! Well, it means I get to have Sugar Cookie Oatmeal!!

It could not be easier to  make! You just need…


Sugar Cookie Sleigh Ride tea, Quest Vanilla Milkshake Protein Powder, old fashioned oats, vanilla, and sprinkles! You can also add your sweetener of choice.

It tastes amazing and bakes great!

First we need to brew our tea.  I use 1 cup of water and two tea bags. Feel free to use more water.  It just depends how thick you want your oats.


Brew your tea however you like (microwave or tea kettle) and let it sit for about 10 minutes.  We want a really strong sugar cookie flavor.

This is going to be the water to cook our oats! Remove the tea bags and mix your oats and tea water in a bowl.  Microwave for 4 minutes, stirring every minute.  Make sure you have a very big bowl because the oats will expand as they cook! You can also cook the oats on the stove top.

Let the oats cool a bit before adding the protein powder, vanilla, and sweetener. Mix it up good! If it is too thick, add a little extra water or milk.


Don’t forget to top them off with some sprinkles! After all, what is a sugar cookie without some pretty sprinkles?!

This is my favorite Winter breakfast! If someone ever tells you that oatmeal is boring, just show them your Sugar Cookie Oats!


You could make them without the protein powder, but I like having protein with my breakfast.  It really helps keep you full and satisfied longer!

Sugar Cookie Oatmeal

  • Sugar Cookie Sleigh Ride tea – 2 tea bags
  • 1/2 scoop Quest Vanilla Milkshake protein powder (14 grams)
  • 1 t vanilla
  • 1 t sprinkles
  • sweetener of choice (3-4 packets)
  1. Brew your tea with 1 cup water, let sit for 10 minutes
  2. Take out tea bags and mix with oats
  3. Microwave 4 minutes, stirring every minute
  4. Let cool a bit before stirring in protein, vanilla, and sweetener
  5. Top with sprinkles
  6. Enjoy warm or cold!
