Shamrock Shake

St. Patrick’s Day means a few things.

We all become a wee bit Irish.
We eat lots of green treats.
We drink lots of green drinks.

I am not a fan of all the green beer…  I would love an apple-tini though!!!

But I do love a chocolatey minty Shamrock Shake!!!


I am not gonna lie and tell you that this is better than the one from Mc. Donald’s…those are frickin good…

But it is much better for you and you don’t have to leave your house to get one!

How did I make it green?!


Spinach!! And no, you cannot taste it!!

That is because I also added banana, chocolate mint protein, and a few other fun ingredients to make this shake taste great!


I am gonna go ahead and recommend Myprotein Chocolate Mint Impact Whey for this recipe. Their vanilla or chocolate protein will work great too!! Just in case your not a huge fan of minty flavored things…☘️

Shamrock Shake

  1. 1 scoop of Chocolate Mint Protein
  2. 1 cup nonfat vanilla Greek yogurt (227g)
  3. 1 frozen banana (100g)
  4. 1 cup fresh baby spinach (25g)
  5. 4-5 ice cubes
  6. Sweetener if desired
  1. Puree all ingredients
  2. Add more or less ice depending on desired thickness
  3. Top with whipped cream and sprinkles
