2015 Goals and Erin Condren Planner

Each New Year I really look forward to getting a new daily planner! I am 100% type A personality and love bring super organized and having things all planned out! I keep my planner almost like a diary where I keep track of everything from work, date nights, appointments, workouts, and more.

While browsing for a fancy new planner, I came across a company called Erin Condren.  Wow! I never saw such amazing planners! I was in love! I was lucky enough to receive a 2015 Life Planner AND a Wellness Bundle!

I love when companies take the extra time to add nice packaging details and hand written cards! Really makes the recipient feel special!

The first book is a simple Calendar & Contacts keeper. I like that it’s nice and small so you can carry it around with you.  I really like having a calendar in my purse so I can check it at any time!

You also get a Monthly Budget Book.  One of my big goals for 2015 is to be more aware of what I am spending money on! When I say “I”, that also includes my husband!


It’s hard to save when you don’t know how much you spend on everything.  Now I can keep track of how much we spend on the mortgage, groceries, gas, going out, car stuff, utilities, and more! I have realized that we spend a lot more than I thought on food and dates!

My favorite of the three books is the Wellness Journal.


It is such a great way to keep track of your daily food and workouts! I don’t track everything everyday, but it is nice to meal plan.  It really helps me get out of my “food rut”.  I am very guilty of eating the same thing day after day.  You may also notice my slight Quest Bar addiction!

So another big goal for 2015 is to add more variety to my food! After years of struggling with an eating disorder, I am really working on adding in some more “fun foods”.  Whether your goal is to eat less, eat more, add healthier foods, or conquer some “fear foods”, this little book is just perfect! There is also a place to add your workout for the day.  You can plan workouts ahead of time, or look back on the week and see what you accomplished.  Great way to make yourself accountable!

I am a big time list maker! I just love the feeling of crossing something off my list after completing it.  It can be a grocery list, to-do list, short term goals, long term goals…I really enjoy my lists!

2015 Goals

  • Incorporate more “fun foods” into my diet – These include “fear foods” such as donuts, candy, ice cream…tasty treats I never used to let myself enjoy!
  • Drink more water! – I got two new water bottles for Christmas so I have no excuse!
  • Be a better food shopper – Look for sales, clip more coupons, budget better
  • Save money for Baby Hoeltje – Less going out…we can have a “date night” at home with Netflix and popcorn!
  • Mix up my workouts – I love swimming, but I don’t need to do it 7 days a week
  • Crotchet a baby blanket – I have til July 31st to complete it
  • Bake and cook more for the husband – Make him a surprise meal or dessert once a week
  • Do more “Life Blogs” – Baby updates, day of eating, nanny life…
  • Stress less!!!! – Bills, cleaning, errands, blogs, blah blah blah…it will get done!!
  • Get a new car! – My current car is not the best for a new baby
  • Have a healthy pregnancy! Eat right, exercise without over doing it, take care of myself!
  • Pamper myself a bit – Get a mani or pedi every once in a while! I deserve it!

As you can see, I don’t have any crazy goals! All very doable, but it helps to write them down.

Ok, back to the wonderful planner! I mentioned that I keep my planner like a diary.

I love using fun colored pens and lots of stickers! It makes it fun to look back on.  This planner is great because there is plenty of space to write on each day.


It also includes some stickers for things like doctor appointments, birthdays, days off, and more.

Gotta love all the positive quotes! I couldn’t agree more!

You can snap in the dry erase lists or hang them on your fridge! The planner also includes a little pouch for cards, stationary, or whatever else you may need.  I plan on keeping my stickers in here 🙂
